The Collection of Thomas and Doris Ammann

The unequivocal star of the Ammann collection was Warhol’s Marilyn. This work was from the Shot Marilyn series which are known to be the most sought after versions of this iconic image. It was all about the entry for this exhibition. I wanted to express the theme of celebrity which Andy Warhol is known for and was facinated with, along with the femininity and softness of Marilyn Monroe.

An additional challenge was the gallery location. The best sightline was not in the first gallery. I created an extended entry and redirected flow to create a dramatic reveal moment.
