The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection

Ann Getty was a well known philanthropist, paleoanthropologist, and a passionate collector. She had an an exceptional eye, and was well known to have decorated her homes with a unique and extravagant style. Spanning our entire first floor, the remit for this exhibition was to bring her San Francisco home to life inside Christie’s galleries. I searched for matching wallpapers, recreating patterns where possible, and sought out every detail to showcase her decorative creations.
